Four decades of sharp cuts and familiar faces on Lancaster Drive.
It started with two budding barbers and a chair in the Lancaster Mall.
The Barbers began way back in 1979 as the Lancaster Mall Barber Shop, tucked inside the Pay Less at Lancaster Mall. Husband and wife Jerry and Sena worked there full-time as young barbers, both trained at Salem Barber College — a school owned and operated by Sena's father.
In 1982, Jerry and Sena purchased the shop from Sena's Uncle John. The mall changed over the years — Pay Less became Sears, storefronts came and went — but one thing stayed constant: affordable, quality haircuts from barbers who treat you like family. Fast forward more than 40 years, and The Barbers is still everyone's favorite haircutters.
Come see why generations of families keep coming back. Walk in any day — we'll take good care of you.
